🥗 Homemade Ranch Dressing
A creamy, tangy, and herby dressing that's perfect for salads, dips, and more.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for added tang)

Combine Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth. -
Add Herbs and Spices:
Stir in the dried dill, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add lemon juice if using. -
Mix Well:
Whisk all ingredients until well combined and smooth. -
Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. -
Serve:
Use as a dressing for salads, a dip for vegetables, or a sauce for your favorite dishes.
Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Best consumed within 5–7 days.
- Stir before each use, as separation may occur.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness by adding more or less buttermilk to reach your desired consistency.
