🌶️ Restaurant-Style Salsa

A flavorful and tangy salsa perfect for pairing with chips or as a topping for your favorite Mexican dishes.

Ingredients

  • 50 Roma tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 serrano pepper
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 2 bunches cilantro
  • 4 green onions
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
  2. Wash all vegetables thoroughly.
  3. Peel the garlic cloves.
  4. Remove stems and seeds from the serrano and jalapeño peppers (adjust the number of peppers based on desired spice level).

  5. Blend the Salsa:

  6. In a blender or food processor, combine the Roma tomatoes, garlic cloves, serrano and jalapeño peppers, cilantro, green onions, and diced yellow onion.
  7. Blend until the mixture reaches your desired consistency—smooth or slightly chunky.
  8. Add salt to taste and blend again to combine.

  9. Serve:

  10. Transfer the salsa to a serving bowl.
  11. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, grilled meats, or other Mexican dishes.

Storage

  • Store any leftover salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Best consumed within 5–7 days.
  • Stir before serving, especially if it has been refrigerated for a few days.

Notes

  • For a milder salsa, reduce the number of peppers or remove the seeds before blending.
  • Adjust the amount of cilantro and onion to taste for a more personalized flavor.
